First you have to make a mix of an oxidiser and sugar. After you're done, put such a mixture in a paper tube or desired size. The next thing you're gonna do is to make a pull ring for it.
1. Straighten out a paper clip.
2. Bend it in a circular shape.
3. Now, the tricky part. first, take a matchbox and cut out the part against which you rub matches to light them. Then take just a few inches of fuse (preferably 1 to 1,5mm in diameter), 6 to 8 matches and use duct tape tomake them stick together, with the fuse in center and matches around it.
4. Fold the piece of matchbox you've cut out earlier and put it on match heads and secure it with a rubber band.
5. You're done. if you attatch this device to a smoke grenade, you're gonna have a few seconds to throw it somewhere before it is actually ignited.
I wonder what would happen if you use sodium nitrate instead of potassium nitrate... I'm not a sciency guy so I wouldn't know the answer to that.
ReplyDelete@Leroy... pretty much the same thing would happen.
ReplyDeleteGreat guide, clever way of making a pull ring.
